We believe in equality

Our company was already a pioneer in this area with the creation, in 2009, of an Equal Opportunity Plan. In it, and within the framework of our People and Organisation Policy, we set an objective of increasing the percentage of women in our workforce, a commitment that we have achieved and continue to pursue.

In 2018, 47.5% of new hires were women. Furthermore, in the last five years, the number of women in the company has increased by 50%, and this growth has taken place in all areas, including traditionally masculine ones. Their presence has also increased significantly in the management team, which is 23% women.

Along these lines, last year we launched, with eight other major companies, the ClosinGap initiative, a working group created with the aim of analysing the opportunity cost to society and the economy of continuing to fail to harness all of female talent in this day and age.

In addition, Solán de Cabras received this seal granted by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality in recognition of the application of policies that promote equal treatment of all its employees.

And, we have a mandatory Code of Conduct for our entire team for the purpose of preventing harassment and ensuring equality and non-discrimination. This document complements our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.
