Training for future employees
Good training is the key to ensuring that we have excellent professionals working for us in the future. That’s how we look at it at Mahou San Miguel and, just as we promote the development of our professionals through training, we also collaborate with various universities and schools in Spain.
Along these lines, last year the company signed a collaboration agreement with the Higher Industrial Engineering School of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) to contribute to the professional development of profiles related to engineering. Through this agreement, three internships were awarded to work in our brewery in Alovera for six months.
We also signed, with Solán de Cabras, two training conventions with organisations in Castilla-La Mancha to boost students’ knowledge in industrial subjects: with the Council of Communities of Castilla-La Mancha for students in dual vocational training in branches related to industrial robotics, telecommunications and computer science; and with the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) for practical training of their engineering students. In both cases, the students had the opportunity to benefit from training placements at our Beteta water spring.
